Overview
The LA Wildfire Relief Grant provides financial assistance to small businesses in Los Angeles County that have been directly impacted by recent wildfires. Many local businesses have suffered property damage, revenue loss, and operational disruptions, making recovery challenging. This grant is designed to provide critical funding to help businesses rebuild, retain employees, and continue serving their communities.
This grant is made possible through the generous partnership of Paris Hilton’s non-profit 11:11 Media Impact, along with GoFundMe.org, and is administered by the Pasadena Women’s Business Center.
Grant Amounts
A total of 50 businesses will receive grants of up to $25,000 each to support their recovery efforts.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for funding, businesses must meet the following requirements:
Be a legally registered business located in Los Angeles County
Have been in operation on or before December 1, 2024
Be a small business, sole proprietor, or freelancer
Demonstrate direct impact from the wildfire, such as:
Physical damage to business property
Loss of inventory, equipment, or essential assets
Temporary closure due to fire-related disruptions
Significant revenue loss as a direct result of the wildfire
Have a clear plan for recovery and ability to use the grant effectively
How to Apply

Provide basic business information and a brief description of wildfire impact
Outline how the grant will support recovery
(Optional but encouraged) Upload supporting documents, such as:
Photos of damage
Proof of revenue loss (if available)
Repair estimates or insurance claim documents
Application Deadline: Friday March 21, 2025 at 5pm PT
Selection Criteria & Review Process
Grant applications will be reviewed based on the following factors:

Grant recipients will be notified by: March 31st, 2025
Use of Funds
Grant funds must be used for business recovery efforts, including but not limited to:
Repairing or rebuilding damaged property
Replacing lost inventory, equipment, or essential tools
Paying rent, utilities, and operational costs
Retaining or rehiring employees
Marketing and customer outreach to rebuild business revenue

Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
By applying for the grant, applicants agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility
To qualify for the grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a legally registered business, sole proprietor, or freelancer.
Have been in operation on or before December 1, 2024 in Los Angeles County.
Have experienced direct impact from the wildfire, including but not limited to:
Physical damage to business property
Loss of inventory, equipment, or essential assets
Temporary closure due to fire-related disruptions
Significant revenue loss as a direct result of the wildfire
Submit a complete and truthful application by the stated deadline.
3. Grant Award and Disbursement
A total of 50 businesses will receive up to $25,000 each.
Funds are to be used for business recovery purposes, including but not limited to:
Repairs, rebuilding, or restoration of damaged business property
Replacement of lost or damaged inventory, equipment, or essential tools
Operating expenses such as rent, utilities, payroll, or marketing
The grant is not a loan and does not need to be repaid.
Grant recipients will be notified via email or phone and must provide necessary documentation for fund disbursement.
4. Use of Funds & Compliance
Recipients must use grant funds responsibly for wildfire-related business recovery.
Pasadena Women’s Business Center reserves the right to request documentation verifying how funds were used.
Any misuse of funds or providing false information in the application may result in the recipient being required to return the grant in full.
Recipients may be required to participate in a follow-up survey or report to share how the grant supported their recovery efforts.
5. Publicity & Acknowledgment
Recipients agree that their business name and story may be shared publicly to highlight the impact of the grant.
By accepting the grant, recipients may be asked to participate in media, press releases, or promotional content related to the grant program.
Any photos, videos, or testimonials submitted may be used by the Pasadena Women’s Business Center, 11:11 Media, and GoFundMe.org for promotional purposes.
6. Grant Selection Process
All applications will be reviewed and scored based on the selection criteria outlined in the grant guidelines.
Grants will be awarded at the discretion of the grant selection committee.
The decision of the committee is final, and there is no appeals process.
7. Fraud & Misrepresentation
Applicants must submit honest and accurate information.
If at any time it is found that an applicant has misrepresented information, their application may be denied, or if already awarded, they may be required to return the funds.
Pasadena Women’s Business Center, 11:11 Media, and/or GoFundMe.org reserves the right to take legal action in cases of fraud.
8. Limitation of Liability
Pasadena Women’s Business Center, Paris Hilton and 11:11 Media, GoFundMe.org, and any associated partners are not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from participation in this grant.
Receiving a grant does not create any ongoing relationship or obligation between the recipient and the granting organizations.
9. Modifications & Termination
Pasadena Women’s Business Center reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the grant program at any time if necessary.
Any changes to the program will be communicated to applicants as soon as possible.
